The SOR weatherproof opposed piston type differential pressure switch is basically two static o-ring type pressure sensors at opposite ends of a common piston shaft.  The housing is weatherproof or can be upgraded to an explosion proof rating. Basic models with standard wetted parts are normally suitable for air, oil, water and non-corrosive process fluids. Operating performance is optimized when system pressure is relatively constant.
